NTCC World Missions
One World, one Gospel, one Mission...
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16 (15)
God's call is the highest, and His mission the grandest. This great responsibility to spread the gospel message is not limited to a denomination or the borders of any nation, but is world-wide. NTCC's World Missions program is designed to plant and establish as many churches as possible, both at home and abroad. Whether Home Missons or Foreign Missions, the message is the same; Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
Countless millions have never heard the gospel message, and the assignment to reach them seems daunting, but Jesus had the answer; "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." (Matt. 9:37-38) God loved the world so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, that none should perish (Jn. 3:16). Our mission is to let people know what Jesus has done for them. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?" (Rom. 10:13-15) Let us also pray, that God may raise up workers to harvest the precious souls of the earth.
"Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours." (John 4:33-38)
The Lord asked His disciples a question; Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Harvest time is normally the time of year when crops ripen and a ready to be gathered. Jesus seemd to impress a sense of urgency upopn them, as He drew their attention to passing souls in need. There's no time to waste, get involved! Pray! Give! Go!
