Connecting with God, Connecting with others...
Our Purpose:
At New Testament Christian Church, our purpose is singular and yet many facetted. It involves connecting those of the community in which we serve, with God and with others.
"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23
We hope you will come and join us for worship and be part of our Purpose!
Our Plan:
1. Preaching and Teaching the "Word".
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Timothy 4:2)
The preaching of the word, the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. It is in the word of God and through the word of God being preached that we find God's power to change or to transform our lives.
2. Growing the kingdom of God by going into the world of lost humanity and bringing to them the one remedy for their lost situation.
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; ... These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Rev. 7.9-17
John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
3. Praying:
Rom 10:1 "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved."
1 Timothy 2:1-4 "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (2)For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. (3)For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; (4)Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
We owe it to one another to pray for each other. We owe it to our communtity to preach or to boldly proclaim the Word of God, And we owe it to God to Help Him grow His kingdom. We encourage you to get involved with us and God's plan for New Testament Christian Church.
