One Gospel, One Mission...
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15
"Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours." (John 4:33-38)
The Lord asked his disciples the question; "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?" Harvest time is normally the time of year when crops ripen and are ready to be gathered. Jesus seemd to impress a sense of urgency upon them, as he drew their attention to passing souls in need. There's no time to waste.
What are we about?
Our church is all about Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that he is Lord and he alone has the pre-eminence in his Church. New Testament Christian Church seeks, in all that it does to exalt him; everything we do, we do with that in mind: We preach, we teach, we worship, we sing, we fellowship and have fun, all in a manner to glorify Christ. We are a Full Gospel Church with the goal of observing and upholding the Word of God.
Our mission
The mission of New Testament Christian Church is the proclamation of the Gospel to all nations of the world. We work to help lead individuals further this great need, and believe God inspires people through the wooing of the Holy Ghost, to fulfill the mission. We are committed to reaching the lost, and showing them the hope in Christ, Jesus.
Our vision
Our existence is to see our military and surrounding communities reached for the Lord; to see them worshipping him and having a genuine love for one another. We trust God and his promises to guide us as we pursue the vision he has placed in our hearts.
Our church
There was a time in our country when sermons were messages, and they stayed with you all week, if not your whole life. When gospel songs and music brought an evangelistic spirit to the service. When men and women walked the center aisle to an altar seeking God. When you walked in, everyone greeted you with a smile making you feel welcome... Well, welcome to New Testament Christian Church. We strive to be a real church FAMILY; to be found honoring, serving and loving the Lord Jesus Christ and therefore purpose to provide a true Christian environment.
It is also about YOU
Ultimately we purpose to glorify God, but we need you. A church without people is just a building. Christ died on the cross, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven for YOU, so that, YOU can have life, and that more abundantly. You will see that our love for God will manifest itself as Spirit-filled lives and show up in service of others. So pray, get involved and let's go!
