Children's Church!

 

Bring your kids to Children's Church every Sunday morning starting at 11:00am. Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Our fun lessons and activities will train up your child to know God's Word and our incentive program will have them motivated to study God's Word all week long. Our goal is to give your child the tool of God's Word to help them live a God centered life and be a light for the lost.

 

Schedule of Events

 

First Sunday of the Month

We celebrate all birthdays for that month, with cupcakes and a gift for the child/children celebrating their birthday.

 

Second Sunday of the Month

We have treat bag Sunday and the memory verse contest. For the memory verse contest, children will earn $20.00 church dollars for each memory verse they know (even if they need some assistance). There will be a first and second place winner per class, they are the ones who know the most memory verses with no assistance from teacher. First place winner will get a prize of their choice. Second place winner will receive a prize chosen by the teacher. In the event of a tie, the one who remembers the most from past memory verses will be declared the first place winner.

 

Third Sunday of the Month

Children get to shop at the church store.

 

Fourth Sunday of the Month

Is treat bag Sunday.

 

And if there is a Fifth Sunday of the Month

Children get to shop at the church store.

 

Every Sunday

Children will get a chance to earn children church dollars.

  • $5.00 church dollars each for attendance, bringing their Bible and offering. If they do all three they will earn a total of $20.00 church dollars.
  • $20.00 church dollars for knowing previous Sunday’s memory verse.
  • $50.00 church dollars for bringing a new friend and $100.00 church dollars for bringing a new friend and their family.
  • $100.00 church dollars for returning their Sunday school paper completed. We encourage parents to work with their children, even writing out the answers for the younger ones but please do not do it for them. We want them to learn about Jesus, to know him is to love him.
  • $5 to $50 church dollars for participation and answering questions.
